Fine thread Bugle Head drywall screws are self piercing and are used for wood, drywall and aluminum. Length is determined from the top of the fastener head.
Fine Thread Drywall Screws are used to secure drywall to 20-25 gauge steel. Their sharp, self piercing point allows for easy penetration, and their fine threads provide a strong hold. They feature a countersunk bugle head that tapers down into the drywall after installation to provide a clean, finished look. They are manufactured to the ASTM C1002 standard and are finished in a black phosphate coating.
