This product is part of the XC Standard range, an offer of limit switches. The limit switch is a device that converts a mechanical motion into an electrical control signal. It has 1 normally closed + 1 normally opened, snap action contacts with positive opening operation. It is a safety switch with a rated operational current of 1.5A at 240V AC and 0.1A at 250V AC. It is furnished with a removable cable connector for electrical connection. It is an IP66, IP67, IP68 and IK06 rated product. It has a spring return metal plunger with elastomer boot, supports vertical approach in 1 direction. It offers mechanical durability of about 10 million operating cycles and electrical durability of about 5 million operating cycles. This plunger head limit switch has a fixed type body which is made of Zamak. Its dimensions are 30mm (width) x 16mm (depth) x 50mm (height) and weighs 0.18kg. It is intended for all industrial machine application such as packaging, materials handling, conveying, machining, food and beverage, service sector, etc. This product is certified by UL, CSA and CCC. It complies with UL 508, EN/IEC 60947-5-1, EN/IEC 60204-1 and CSA C22.2 No 14 standards. European standard products (EN 50047) have positive opening contacts, even in snap action versions which allow use in safety applications. The IEC limit switch offers a positive opening on all snap contacts, for safer machinery. Switch is available with modular design for easier maintenance.
