M12 Black Heated TS Jacket, Large, Black

I got this for my boyfriend and he is absolutely in love with it. (I can tell when he's faking it so I know he really loves it.) He works in a garage and temp has been in the teens/20s/30s and this jacket helps keep him warm. He is 5' 10" and 174 and a large fit him perfectly. (I originally bought an XL thinking he'd wear layers underneath but it was too big and you don't need all the layers with the heat.) There's flexibility to move around, unnoticeable drawstrings for when it's really cold to pull the jacket tighter, and useful deep pockets. His coworkers are jealous, and I'm tempted to get a jacket for myself to wear when I visit Chicago. He bought the battery separate, and bought one that lasts longer (M12 3.0) so he gets a full 8-hour day charge. I had a REALLY hard time finding a large, so if you see one grab it while you can! Glad I bought this from Platt as I had a few problems with Home Depot orders (one order said on it way but was never shipped, another arrived damaged), and no problems with Platt orders. Platt had an easy and smooth ordering process and the project arrived in pristine condition. I was tempted to get a Dewalt jacket, but some reviews said it didn't hold up in the wash. (I looked at a LOT of jackets and even started making a spreadsheet of the pros and cons.) I was very pleased with the durability of this Milwaukee jacket. (Even if I'll never be able to spell Milwaukee without looking.) Great gift idea if you know someone that works in the cold. You can buy the jacket and charger kit separately (this just comes with a holder for the charger). One note, there is a usb port for you to charge your phone, but you can't have the heat on in the jacket and charge your phone at the same time. (Still, nice to have a back up.) A good point: the heat helps with sore backs and sore shoulders. Oh, to turn it on you have to hold down the button for a couple seconds, not just touch it. (This step was buried in the tiny print hard to read directions, at first we thought there was an issue with the battery or jacket.) It's simple to use, just plug the battery pak in the pocket and turn the jacket on by holding down the button on the front of the jacket for a few seconds. I highly recommend this product.
