Leadership - David Mullane

David Mullane joined Capitol Light. in 1984 as an Assistant Manager in commercial lighting. From 1985 to 1989 he served as a Lighting Consultant meeting the design, layout and equipment needs of customers. Mr. Mullane was promoted to Commercial Lighting Manager in 1989, Vice President of National Accounts in 1992, and President/Principal of Capitol Light in 2000. During his tenure, Mr. Mullane has led the growth of the National Accounts customer base from one national customer accounting for $2 million in sales to over 250 national brands with approximately $160 million in sales.

In addition to his responsibilities for all aspects of National Accounts customer service and support, Mr. Mullane is responsible for the continuous training and development of his team of employees and participating in planning the overall strategy of what is now known as just Capitol Light. a division of Rexel USA, Inc.

David Mullane holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology from Central Connecticut University and the University of Bradford in Bradford, England.
